About AVS
Independent perspectives. A shared curiosity.
How AVS is organised
Who belongs to the collective, whom YETA profiles and what the journal publishes: explore the three sections and their respective content.
The AVS collective
Meet AVS collective members Matti Duerr, Fili (Filippo D’Alessandro) and Marc Hairman, and explore their photographic work.
Artist profiles
YETA introduces artists and their work. Publication of a profile does not automatically imply membership in the AVS collective.
Media & journal
YETA – Your Eyes To Art is AVS’s editorial media section, with the journal, essays, photobooks, close readings, exhibition tips and magazine archive.
Street photography. Photographic art. Independent perspectives.
Art Vision Syndicate is an international curated platform and photography collective. We share a curiosity about life: fleeting encounters, unexpected connections and the extraordinary within the everyday.
Our approach
We are drawn to photographs with a voice of their own. To observations that leave questions open. To humour, friction and quiet nuances. A strong photograph does not have to explain everything — it can invite a second look.
Bringing photographs into dialogue
Our photo essays bring individual works into conversation. Selection and sequence reveal new connections: between people and urban space, light and shadow, reality and reflection.

Matti Duerr
On this website, Matti Duerr presents work between street photography and photographic art. His images seek out the unusual in everyday life — in encounters, urban spaces and the traces people leave behind.

YETA — Your Eyes To Art
YETA is Art Vision Syndicate’s independent photography journal; YE2A is its graphic mark. The journal connects photography with reflections on art and perception. Issue 1/2025 is available in the website’s archive.
