City Signals

Matti Duerr · 2024 · 6 photographs

Yellow holds the gaze. Red responds, blue creates distance. Facades, a vehicle window, a fruit stall and a fire extinguisher in a passage become signs. These six photographs read the city through its colours: sometimes dense and loud, sometimes empty and almost abstract.

Yellow holds the gaze. Red answers. Blue creates distance. Six photographs turn the colours of the city into a visual language, moving from crowded surfaces to a single object left in an empty passage.
